Wooden Curtain Rod Brackets

I intend to do and hanging curtains simple Panal. My husband was recently suspended my wooden curtain rods and wooden racks seem to be "like" to hang the curtains provided Panal. Any way around this is or ideas for other festoons curtians there? ?
