White Wooden Curtain Rod

Posted on June 23, 2010.
White Wooden Curtain RodWhat is the color, design, style of curtains should I hang in my living room formal?

I have a room with wall caramel "Paprika" colored sofas. The base of the room is white (we're not painting it, even if necessary) and the blinds are in dark wood (almost purple). I can not design curtain. We bought the materials before the curtains curtains were chosen - Nice wooden rods. The stem is too large for typical "pocket" or valances sheers. And with pinch pleat curtains, I do not like how the hook when you watch the clip ring. And the colors ... I found some curtains that matched the color of the sofa, but it was too much of this color. I tried Paisley curtains that had both the caramel and paprika and even purple to blend with the blinds, but the pocket was too small. I am upset!

Prime and paint your blinds white before doing anything else. This will be the neutral backdrop of your choice and free-style curtains and color significantly.
One suggestion would be to go with simple panels on each side of sheers. You seem to have a lot of color changes if you really do not need to "match" your curtains to your colors. When there are too many strong colors focal points, with highlights of color lose their impact and compete with each other to create a sense of "tense" or "chaotic" rather than smart or quiet. Go to a neutral panel. If you like the look of Pleats rigor, but not the visibility of the hooks, the hooks were put behind the curtain, and nobody can see them.
This room will ultimately reflect your preferences, but reducing the blinds and the choice of neutral or curtain panels add an element of calm and make your features pop colors rather than compete.

You need to find a band of silk Dupioni on lots of tape (of them are multi-colored), or a damask jacquard. As did not show how the hooks, they do not show at all (you should have bought folds pinch hooks that are too long). With regard to swerve, you must install another rod curtains behind the rod, and if you can not find a match for your blinds, curtains may be the way forward (solid, not to block Paisley purple although I think you can find a solution). Keep the pattern on the drapery, and not the sheer. I'll post some links for you to browse through. Just browse the band damask striped or jacquard. Once you see what your options are, you can search for different manufacturers for the price differentials style /. Remember, pinch pleats brackets do not appear on the rings, they are hidden by the folds top:) I hope you find something you like.

I do not know the dark, almost purple wood blinds will work with the rest of these colors.

I noticed in the JC Penney catalog they have a treatment window tab called "return". The Thermals Print Wendy come in panels and valances and are indicated on decorative rods.

The back-tabs are good looking, and there is a pattern called Paisley that looks as if would go perfectly with the walls of camels and sofas paprika. However, the fabric is cotton sails, so it may not be formal enough for your furniture.

You can always go with sheer panels color of wheat gathered on metal rods and topped with a print skirt on your decorative rods. If you have found the remains that you liked, you may even start a few pillows to match the skirt, or sew together you if you &.
