Is it possible to win in small claims court against a co valet. who stripped my clutch? Car towed to the exit.? Valet parking blocked the clutch, broke the clutch bar, then blocked the starter tries to repeatedly drive without the clutch. My car has been towed into the lot and was in perfect condition on arrival. They insisted that there was not reversed when I arrived (ridiculous). In addition, they were rude, claims and demands thorough she can not pay me because it is a mechanical problem. There were security cameras. Construction of a shopping upscale Beverly Hills has been building and my car is a 1987 (but very clean.) Do I have a chance in small claims court?
If you can prove it, yes.
Thank you all for responding, I was actually able to prove it and the parking company to reimburse me ... The tire was that my mechanic was able to give me the broken parts clutch rod and explain how it happened ... was def. case of a squeaky wheel ... Flag
Take the court, not small claims court. Not only did they f-up your car, but they caused you physical and emotional difficulties to live full lives. I am sure you will love this car and you used to go to work, school, etc. to strip your clutch and will cost you much money.
This will depend on two things:
- The terms you agreed to turn on your car to the valet (the back of the ticket)
- How convincingly you can argue your case before a judge
My God, yes everyone can drive a manual transmission, but anyone can burn a place to go to court do not forget yur witness who says that you saved to disk
The valet company had to pay for the damage to your car. File it in small claims court, but be able to present strong evidence as to their crime.
You can!
Not even you, but you have to because everyone has privacy!
Everyone loves her things regardless of cost, style, or the date of purchase!
Good luck, but remember to have vitneses!
Absolutely, you can win. The valet service is responsible for everything that happens to your car while in their possession, and they know it. You can also see the continuing owner of the parking lot too.
You can. Obviously, you drove your car and left them in working order. I would sue for towing charges as well.
only if you can prove your clutch was in perfect condition on arrival. I do not think you can prove that the valet is damaged, unless you have witnesses and / or video. conjecture.
