Tiebacks

I saw different types, some binding, others are attached to the wall. Are there other types? How do I know what is good for my window?

Here's a suggestion for you, take a piece of clear plastic or glass (use clear plastic or glass from a picture frame) and hold up the window (at a distance so you can see all window) and using a washable magic marker, draw the outline of the window. Then draw your curtains with tie backs to see what you like or dislike. Regarding the different types, in addition to how they are mounted, you can choose from braided fabric, beads, string, or make your own! Good luck and I hope it helped.
