I want to T5 fluorescent bulbs, but I do not want to get new equipment, what can I do? I want to improve my fluorescent lighting to T8 T5 bulbs because I am eligible for a refund of my utility but I do not want to replace my old appliances. Is it possible or a technology that will allow me we T5 bulbs in fixtures not designed for them?
It can be done without changing internal components. I assume you are asking if there is a kind of map where you can simply use a T5 instead of the standard T8 lamp. No, it is not.
