Striped Drapes

Posted on April 26, 2010.
Striped DrapesWhat color wall paint would go with the amber and fishing striped curtains?

On Amazon they are Raymond Waites Hampton Stripe Curtains

to go with a light creamy yellow. It softens the colors in the curtains. It looks great. Accent with color on the curtains! Pillows, throws, pictures .... but do not feel obliged to stick to one color ... Mix, match and have fun !!!!!

I would choose a tone that is a shade lighter than the amber walls, I think the fishing would be too much on a wall.

The best option DESIGN purchase paint NICE (NOT purple), and then removing YOUR hideous 'Drapes'

mauve

Anything these days.

When I see the peach-colored one reason I see red too. But, you do not want to paint the walls red. So how about a tan color, tan more deeply than anything.

When you are more contemporary then you can opt for a purple color.

All the earth work would pale shades of white or eggshell for coffee. You can use a pale green grass and blue sky, too.

You could take a color curtains, like amber fishing and painting the walls one color, or you can paint the walls a creamy yellow, cream or beige.
