How much should I charge for the fabric of my garage sale? I have a hundred pieces of upholstery, curtains, cover, and other pure fabrics that I sell at my garage sale. I could not find someone to buy both. Should I sell it by the bolt, book, in the yard? and how is it / What do you thing that people are willing to pay? Please do not tell me to look on e-bay. Thank you.
You kill me. I want to access your garage sale! I am a fabraholic. Hundred BOLTS??? It is thousands of meters. Drool, drool, swallow!
Do not sell it by the court or the pound. You'd better sell it by the bolt. I think you just right for him to go faster this way. Have set prices and mark each bolt sold as a set based on the quality and quantity on each bolt. Of course, the interior fabrics are more valuable than the tissues of clothing. I have no idea how what you originally bought, so it is difficult to give a price. The fabric is used as furniture, people do not want to spend what it is really worth.
However, on reflection, if you break the yardage, you may be able to get more sales:
You can spend time and reduce some tissues into three sections yards (December drapery fabric Home / curtains for the panels are up to three pieces of construction) and five parts yard for apparel fabrics. I would mark each piece cut $ 10.00 or not to cut the fabric at all costs and $ 20.00 to $ 50.00 for December bolts for home and less clothing. Shoot high, then expect to negotiate lower.
There is a garage sale that I will always regret missing. You would not get to live in New England, would you??
