School House Lighting

As a lifelong educator and superintendent future, I attended a multitude of physical buildings that house the American school child. Some of them are new buildings with beautiful architecture, while others have been 100 years, small rural schools. Traditionally, the ceiling is sufficient to distract children, the teacher training college with sparkling ongoing, buzzing and vibration. Many children with autism are not able to be in class and the moms can stay home knowing that the game buzzing of their children. This lighting can affect the seizure and tics. ADHD children are distracted by the frequency, too. Our children, as a whole, are becoming very aware of many conditions that perhaps fifty years ago would not bother a child. Schools need to meet the needs of all children and the fact that it is becoming so common that we must do what is in the best interest of all children and provide the right kind of lighting that does not cause adverse reactions.

I do not know about you, but when I walk into a room, I noticed that it's clean. When I look at the walls and see the stains, marks and then examine the soil and a layer of dust on the baseboards, I think the dirt, pure and simple. You have no idea how many posts substitute teacher and I went into the dirt found on a regular basis. Children breathe in dust and all, it sets a very bad example.
