Scratches on the walls after the paint? Alright. Painting my room a light blue. Put two coats on .. everything went perfectly. Began to notice that the roll poured on the wall ... (Btw, I have this roll of Home Depot in a kit). As I move along the wall, I began to realize that some of shedding have already dried paint application first. Now, the wall is rough and difficult. I heard my neighbor that I can sand and repaint .. I did .. with a brush (what I know now was wrong when I started working with a roller). Nonethless, now I have marks on my wall ... different shades of blue. It is bad. I returned to Home Depot and they told me I need to reboot, repaint ... which is (to say the least), upsetting, but necessary to make the wall look "better". Please spare me the way, I am an amateur painter. Any thought on this? To make it look better? Would reboot and painting is the best bet?
All you have to do is get a good quality roller cover or a Purdee Wooster, Home Depot (if you complain to the manager HD you can get it free, as he failed Kit)
Next all you do is paint the walls, no primer assuming you stay with the same color, not much.
Remember the next time to use decent tools
and the little stuff on the roll is called nap and yes kits are crap your better to buy rolls and handles separately. but if u just get more blue and give it a nice coat and be sure to cut corners and baseboard trim it all before you start rolling. Use a brush to things nearby and spread evenly do not be afraid to use the paint generously, but do not run it just take your time
some of the answers you poor people are ridiculous, you have to buy a less plush Roller "PAN" is what the entire roll is not called small synthetic hair that are now on your walls, it is caused by a good nap 99 percent. You can go to a paint store and buy a real good sleep or shed less I know the garbage dump to get a nap Purdy not falling, most of these people they do not know which end of a paintbrush to use never mind tell you the proper way to paint. All you have to do is that your neighbor said, lightly sand the walls with 150 grit paper and paint roller with a nap and do yourself a favor start getting your materials and advice in a real paint store , look at the time you wasted listening to the superstore, good luck LES painter. YOU DO NOT PRIME
The exact
Your problem is a sleeve at low prices.
I see quite frequently by people of DIY ...
roll of sand along the walls and cover ... this time with a high quality plush without cover ... Purdy is a good
The next time Spend a little money and get a quality paint and supplies ... It will save all the headaches
If it's just a wall why not make an accent wall. You can add multiple sins yseing various points around the house just by using a second Coler other than blue. I used a feather duster with a little paint on boards and swatted on the wall at the light in different directions. Make a small area at a time let it rest as you make another login box and then take a dry towel and blot padded to soften the effects repeated until the wall is done. Use a small piece of thin foam with pieces torn to get the same effect on the edges and up near the cieling. It does not cause the proof that you can add as much or as little to get the desired effect. Check online at certain sites and you can find lots of ideas. And you should not be an expert painter infact the opposite works better.
