Has anyone ever used a salt lamp rock? What it REALLY works? Please explain why or why not.
Yes, I have, and yes it works. The substance is that the lamp emits negative ions, which causes a natural relaxation. Wondering why you feel relaxed on the beach? The same principle, the emission of negative ions across the sand.
I've used in my massage rooms, and most often, my clients told me they felt more relaxed, just enter the room, even before the massage starts.
rock salt, no calcium carbide yes, they are two different elements and rock salt does not burn, does calcium carbide in air and moisture added, if you know how to put the fire safely it burns with a white-hot intensity of a 100-watt bulb for 20 yards, if you do not know what you do note that it will explode in your face and everyone with a mile will know right away that you messed. and you will need to clean your butt. These used to be used as lighting in underground mines until just after WW 2. they leave the use of these lights when someone finally realized that it was the lights that light the methane and coal dust in mines and behind the bombings that day ruin all.
Hi Kate, never heard of a rock salt lamp ...... What is it?
