Ring Top Curtains

If you look at the pictures of their PotteryBarn curtains that use clip rings, teeth of the clip is hidden and all you see is the ring on the stem. What are clip rings attached to the rear of the curtain? Is there something I should sew on when making my own curtains? Thank you

If you put up a valance it will not matter what type of setting you use.

A picture may help, which means what kind of curtains. Most places selling videos, which are right on the canvas (so you do not need to use a curtain, can use regular tissue), then the ring goes on the stem.

If you mean the curtains, then they have a large metal rod with a sharp point at the end. the rod in a space on the drape, you can attach it to the ring, or some rings.
