Rack FurnitureHow can I fix small spots on a piece of furniture where finish has been "eaten" by the felt pads on a wine rack?

I had the furniture refurbished a year ago. Since then, I had a wine rack resting on it. Four corners of the grid are protected by small felt pads. Seems that skates across the finish line. Is it possible that I can hide or Spot Repair four spots?

Try: Wood Finish Stain Markers by Minwax Delivered in about 9 different colors finish.Works oil-based stains for me. I've used for years to touch the nicks and scratches and worn out on my own finishes furniture. Can find them a Lowes or hardware store.

I would say that putting the rack back on to hide the stains, but I fear it is time to re-finished. Yes, you could try to match the finish line, but reminders of the spots still appear to be there. It may cost more to go to an expert to solve the problem, instead of simply finishing the entire region.
