Pink Closet Dress Up

Our apartment is older and in two bedrooms (two of my children, one boy and one girl) there are no closets, just a wardrobe of clothes and a shelf above. How can I dress so it looks more like a closet or atleast less clutter and a more decorative? The rooms cute until you look at it and it seems just a half-you-know-what! The boys' room is a jungle theme and it is a baby so much to store. The girls' bedroom is a princess theme and everything is in most pink.
