Outdoor Spotlights

Posted on April 27, 2010.
Outdoor SpotlightsHow can I waterproof lights outside? They are the type of temporary floodlights issue.?

I bought a set to use in my Halloween graveyard and they got wet and a short circuit. Then I made wooden boxes with Plexiglas covers, but the Plexiglas melted.

Do not try to use these outside lights. This is dangerous, can cause fire or electric shock.
You have faulty lights should not be used outdoors.

Did you soak in water? Exterior lighting should already be water resistant enough to handle a storm. Are you sure these lights are out? I think you should have someone check the wiring more qualified fuel for fires.
