Nursery Closet

Posted on May 17, 2010.
Nursery ClosetWant to make a dressing for a nursery?

We have a 2 bedroom apartment and a roommate. I intended to put the crib and as our room, but I began to wonder if it would be strange to the toilet in a nursery. About the 6x6 so its a huge wardrobe. If you've done that I need advice you can give me and if not I need some opinions.

Put a good light in there, one of those type that mimics daylight. Use mirrors to make the space feel larger. If you use images on the walls, get pictures outside so it's like if you are looking for a window.

You know, I was actually considering this too. But I think with him being very tall, it would be nice. Make sure you have enough space elsewhere where everything is hanging in there.

Bad idea because of risk of fire. For something to be considered a right room there must be two exits - a door and a window exit.

I would not do it, I just want to keep the baby in your room until you get rid of a roommate or move elsewhere.

If you have an Ikea near you, I would go there and check some of them display "apartments". At my local Ikea, there are few who have a small area set up as a nursery and you might be able to get ideas for how to do yours. I would like to remove all the cabinet doors for ventilation and hopefully make it more of an enclave to your bedroom. Really, your baby is largely going to be there during sleep anyway, I would not worry too much about the small size.
