Creating mood I hope that now you have read an article, "Why does the light." Not only have you read the information, but you have digested the information. In addition, you have done your due diligence to know now why you want to light. In my other life experiences as a military pilot flying helicopters in Viet Nam, hunters from the Air National Guard pilot and a professional line, I am programmed to use systems and checklists in integrating systems. That said, the items will sequence from one to another.
Now you know why the light, "Great!" The next step in the sequence is to determine what "mood" you want to create your castle. As you lead in your neighborhood, you've done your homework, have you not? You've seen the different styles, effects or moods of the landscape lighting systems were on houses. You've seen some that did not appeal to you and others who were on the target .
The easiest part of this paper is to disregard systems that you did not like. Focus on the systems you like and ask how you can improve the style or mood. Unleash your imagination and remember that you must create a system that you like. What you like is important and you do not install a system for your friends or neighbors. Your house reflects you and your landscape lighting system is no exception.
To create the mood you want, keep in mind the effect comes from the lamp in the fixture and not the fixture. The fixture is nothing more than a device for holding the lamp or bulb. We will now begin the study of photometry. This is a study of light intensity and extent of this intensity. The dictionary definition is: the branch of study which deals with measures of the intensity of light as the art of making such measures. Fortunately for us, studies have been made and the results have been documented.
Everything we know is that a lamp with a lower wattage will look softer than a lamp with a wattage important. In addition, a lamp with a small beam spread covers less area than a lamp with a wide beam spread. Most applications can achieve the effects of desire lamps from 20 watts with a beam of 12 degrees to a broadcast of 75 watts with a beam spread of 60 degrees. Of course, there are many options available between the two mentioned.
All lamps 12 volts must receive the correct amount of tension to make a higher efficiency and create the mood you want. The exact amount of voltage required for the halogen lamp is 10.5 to 11.7 volts. Remember to check the voltage to each device. A lamp which receives less voltage 10.5 volts will last very long, however, the light is very weak and yellow. A halogen lamp with the correct voltage gives a strong, clean, bright white light. Think of a clear night with a full moon and you will see the light is strong, clear and clean. We want to create the natural look and what is done with halogen lamps to power.
