Modern Closet Doors

I just moved into my new apartment and all my new furniture is chic and modern. The only problem is my closet are a bit outdated and I can not take them or change the room this way it is against my lease. The material is a plastic imitation wood finish. What do you propose to give these doors a look of modern culture.

Is it possible to hang curtains floor to ceiling that would cover them in accordance with your lease? They look pretty bad.

You can use a placard on the door (I think they are called wreath hangers) and hang a large poster, wallpaper, modern art, anything goes with your decor. I would put padding on the back of something heavy and hard to avoid hitting sounds.
