Metal Drapery

I bought a rod to the target 48-84 which says that "in length, and I need more than 48 inches, but I have no idea how to do more. It looks like a metal rod solid, but sounds like something is inside of it. How can I extend? I can not pull / twist ... already tried. Thank you.

hmmm thats weird, now it has two separate rods in the package or just the stem of it? generally the other will house a stem so that it extends to the greater length (84 ") in your case .... are you sure there isn't another rod within one ? it may be blocked.

It might be possible, it was a return customer, and the second rod has not been returned to the packet. I just bought stems the same length of what you have. (48-84) and there were two distinct stems in it, where a smaller diameter stem just slipped into the larger diameter rod others.

Good luck and if you can not understand it, return the thing to be defective.

Unless there is a screw in it, you should be able to draw from each end to make it more. It's two pieces of metal, slipped inside the other. Try pulling very hard.
