Linen Curtain Panels

I have six panels out of white linen curtains. I want to dye their sage green light. I've never dyed anything before. What do I need to know and what I can do it in a washing machine?

Yes, you can dye them in your washing machine with Rit. Just follow the instructions. Be sure to wash them first and they are wet when you put them in the dye.
Also make sure they are not polyester. This fabric will not take dye.

You can go to a fabric or sewing store and buy JoAnne dyeing fabric. The instructions are on the bottle. You can probably do it in your bathtub better than your washing machine.
