Large Lamp Shades

I come to Bangkok a year ago and people tell me that Suan Lum is closing. ABT How now? Are they still open?

I like the big hanging lamp shades they sell there. How can I translate the large items on the map with me? I'm Tiger Airways and wondered if there are additional charges or if it is still possible?

I've been to Bangkok many times before and have shopped in places like Siam Paragon JJ market, MBK, Chinatown, Khao San, etc.. any other interesting shops / eateries that I did not go / everything interesting place to recommend? I need to find excuses "new" to convince me to return.

You will have to pay more money to get back on a plan that is simple fact. But I do not think it is my responsibility to check with Tiger Airlines for the cost. Pick up a phone and call and find out. other options are mail, airmail will be very expensive and perhaps the question would be too large to send airmail. Another option is surface mail. This could take up to two months depending on where you live. So yes Suan Lum is still open, has now passed.

its going to be opened for a few more years! cos of the ppl who own the land decided that the economic crisis, it is best to wait

Other places to shop would be sellers of Sukhumvit Road, Pantip Plaza for all things related to the computer, one of Central Department Store, Pratunam (across the street from Pantip and right).
