Instant storage Creating closet is a great way to get your home organized and even add value to the sale of your home. Most people have things stored they have not used or even looked at for years. Decluttering is the first step to organizing your closet and create extra space for things you really need to store.
Take an objective look at the contents of your closet and start to analyze what you really need. Empty the closet and classify each group of elements. You can use your bed or on the floor to make way for the project organization. Make a group of things that you know the elements you need and use. You can have lots of things you know you want to keep, but you realize that it takes too much space. Separate these things in another pile and set it aside for later.
When you go through your clothes and shoes, get rid of those you have not worn for a year. Shoes can be difficult to remove, but go ahead and ditch if they are scratched, too narrow in fashion, or if you never seem to wear them. Clothing may become obsolete as fast as you can have lots of used clothes that you're never in the mood to wear.
Do a little research and find a store or resale shop car in your area who may want to purchase these items usable to you. You may be able to sell large lots of clothing or branded goods online. Whatever does not sell can be donated or given to a charity. You can even decide to make a garage sale and use the money to update your closet.
You can now take a look at the pile of things you've been in storage that may not belong in the closet. Old papers, statements, photo albums, and sports equipment can be housed elsewhere. Go through the old boxes and be selective about what you keep. You can invest in a library for books, files and photos. Other things can be stored in the attic, garage or basement, freeing up much storage space in your closet.
The next step is to develop a system of cabinet that accommodates what you have left. Expect a bit of space saving options which give you more space than you need. For example, if you move your bar suspension, you might have room for a double shoe rack below, instead of a single, double your shoe storage. You can install wire shelves that you can hang clothes from anywhere. You can double your wardrobe and shelves using a single wardrobe that uses vertical space and the depth of your closet.
Modified cabinet with hooks for robes, handbags and tote bags. Install support hat, scarf use, belt, tie and coat hangers . Make a place for everything. You can even use hangers that save space by allowing you to hang multiple items on each bracket. Use a hanger wooden hanger or Nice nice clothing to keep their shape at the shoulders. When your closet is organized and has a usable storage space, you can store your seasonal clothing with ease, making it easier to stay organized once you this way.
