Hammered Copper Pots

Posted on May 11, 2010.
Hammered Copper PotsIs spray painting a pot on my plant?

I think my planter plastic spray paints in a hammered copper finish. So I was wondering if the spray paint on the pot will affect the plant (for example: poison, etc..)

Obviously, I'm not going to paint it with the plant inside.

No - in fact, it's a great idea! I did this several times with new paint specifically designed for plastics.
Fusion is the name of the painting - but I also sprayed a matte coating on top to extend any alteration.
I used the blue satin - but hammered copper looks great too!
So yes .... Go!

Since it is a plastic planter should be good to paint.

I doubt it, but the paint adhere to the plastic?

No, it will not hurt as long as you let it dry well and are obviously not the plant set

No, it will not if you allow time for the paint to dry. If you do not let it dry, then you'll have a little earth painted, but no problem. it wont kill the plant

This will not affect the plant. However, my favorite colors are the trademark Patio Paint. You can find bottles in stores this painting of Michael. It remains forever light on all surfaces.
