Fluorescent Light Fittings

Fluorescent Light FittingsFluorescent Light Fitting replacement?

Hello
I have two fluorescent lights in my kitchen. Both are 5ft 65W T12 lamps. One accessory is dead, I looked in the DIY stores and online and can not find all the accessories that make these lights 5ft.

All connections seem to 5ft 58W T8 lamps. Does anyone know of anywhere I can get the right fitting? Is it possible to use a fitting T12 T8? Should I give up and replace it with a fitting T8?

Sorry for all the questions!

I come from a number of results for "65W T12 using Google.

Do yall have any lighting stores nearby?
power houses?

T8 bulb is much more economical in the use of T12. quick check ELEC supply stores in your hometown for t12 fittings hdwe also independent stores. Lowes Home Depot wants you to buy new equipment thanks geo

The terminal T-8 does not work with T-12 lamps and ballast (transformer) inside the device is not compatible with T-8 lamps. Check the yellow pages and look for a house power and call them. You'll probably have to take the old terminal to the home supply and a match again because there are many different styles of terminals used by different manufacturers.

But a new light.
