Custom built, or punch? When looking at houses, we were shown a new subdivision where we could build a house, but we had to take one of their plans are pre-determined aloud very little (read: any) modifications, except the color.
What differences can we expect to want one built in a different place, with some changes made? different arrangement of the kitchen, bay window, not the most expensive square cuts in the cieling, slightly expanded the master bathroom (cut in closet if necessary) and install a jetted tub, the Adding a pantry nonexistent (ready to cut in order to stay this, its quite big but I need a pantry) and the relocation and expansion slightly laundry ... I'd be willing to cut to the garage.
I would also like another, and probably cheaper location ... I'm not a fan of bieng surrounded by neighbors in houses near identicle.
headache on the kind of difference do you think I could expect the cost of the procedure, time, and the general cause?
Ok, houses sweeping provisions are generally 4 that the manufacturer then changes so it looks like there's more. What you say you want a custom home is that I am not so sure right now is wise in this market. Just because everyone thinks it would be cheaper to build, but remember the cheapest product.
Depends on cost - this type of material is used
Procedure - the same paperwork, but a little more detail
Time - Anywhere from six months to a year and a half (of new material if, when and if available)
General Headace - You might consider that if you want to watch the progress of your home being built you have to deal with dust, since workers do not work, because the mistakes that want change and can not, inappropriate materials used, defects in materials set up, etc.
