Need a end decorations for the room half conduit that I use for my curtain rods, What can I use? We have 3 90 inch double windows mule, and lower prices deco curtain rods, I am using a new piece of 1 / 2 into a conduit for cafe curtains. Need advice on what to do with the end of the duct, econmical, but decorative. Thank you
I think you could plug the end with maybe a piece of cork and the screw in a button drawer hardware .. It may be preferable to put the cork on the screw first and push it into the conduit. Jo-Anns stores unfinished wood turnings, you may find a perfect record of size there too and finials. I am a decorator and I like your thinking outside the box. Hope this helps
I do not know where you live, but HD and Lowes in the U.S. sell Deco landmarks. I have to believe tissues shops do as well,,, IE: Jo Ann fabrics here.

You can use bullets or even homemade cheap balls for children, go to Walmart's fabric section, look for samples of fabric or leftover glue on the ball and super glue the wrong side of the ball in the opening end of the rod. You can cover balls nothing, I had a friend tore strips of paper bags and glue, and then stained. It looks like leather. Be creative use what you have or change it. Hot glue is your friend.
Go to store boats and get wood decorations. Three-dimensional work better, but you can use flat. Finish as you like. Place a piece of heavy gauge wire to the back of the decoration. Insert plug end of curtain rod, wire and push the cork. Beautiful, smart, goofy or decorative finishes to suit any style. And they cost very little. (About $ 5 for the whole of that it)
Rinse the last drops of budwieser on boxes and push forcefully on the ends ...
or be smart and go buy curtain rods
Maybe try some large chandelier (found in fabric stores) to answer your curtains and use a glue gun to join! (Glue guns are very cheap and even cheaper glue)
