What kind of regulations should ask if the pharmacy you blind for two weeks with the wrong medication? My doctor gave me a prescription for pilocarpine had to fill a specialty pharmacy that titrations.Though the order was entered, the pharmacist got mixed with the drug atropine sulfate (a student drug dialating also paralyzes the muscles that help the eye to focus). In addition, the instructions on the bottle were to pilocarpine, so I ended up getting a dose that was 50 times the usual dose of atropine. Although nothing terrible has happened, the dialation ruined my near vision and forced me to wear dark sunglasses indoors for about two weeks. I was still able to get to work (I am a graduate student), but I did it with a huge headache glare and had to find rides since I am unable to drive. Now, the insurance company from the pharmacy called me asking for a solution and I have no idea what to say. The damage is not permanent, so that seems to continue. On the other hand, I was in pain for two weeks, so I ask you something. Any idea what would be fair?
Talk to a lawyer NOW!
DO NOT try to take care of it yourself. Yes ... you are entitiled to certain types of renumeration. What if it had been filled with something that blinds you! What if they meet the other scripts bad, not just your own? A survey of pharmacy also seems in order. Just because you escaped unharmed as far as the rest of your life ....( but you will never know what can happen on line ... it could have done damage you are not aware of that will back it's ugly head later in life) ... They even made a blunder that could cost you your sight or .... your life.
It is not bad .... and your lawyer most likely can settle with them without going to court.
I was in a bad car accident a few years ago. We had a small colony, but just (in time), without going to court (the other drivers fault ...)... However, today 15 years later, my teeth are problems (my mouth hit the steering wheel) because of this accident (cracks in fillings at the time I have caused my teeth to break rear) ... and I wish now I had done more at that time.
Cover up ... do everything possible to ensure that this does not happen to someone else ... I do not understand you want to be be mean and stuff, but .... ... you must make sure your interest now ... Because nobody else will do it for you ....
I would check with a lawyer before answering. Even if you do not plan to continue you need to know what you're dealing with here legally before you answer. Keep in mind that if you deal with them now, you may waive any right to sue future ... say, if you have any long term effects of this drug. I see a lawyer.
If I were you I would try to settle amicably. Because if you do not you can drag on for a year or two! Ask for what you think of its value! Good luck!
20,000,000.
Unfortunately, an error was made with negative consequences for you. However, no permanent damage resulted. Be grateful. Why do you feel like you need a compensation? This world is in disorder because of its people want to sue or be compensated. Money used to change a thing about what happened to you.
my best advise is to get a lawyer. They can fight with insurance companies, especially if it's a question of money.
You need to contact a lawyer for the amount of damages for a lawsuit .. If you have a go against the pharmacy ..
Do not accept anything without talking to a lawyer who handles such cases! The insurance company will try to screw you.
It's horrible what happened to you! I hope you're all better now.
If you do not call tryingto set up to get a lawyer now they will try and they can minimize anytihng, have no answer.
