Asian Interior Design

Posted on September 3, 2010.
Asian Interior DesignHow influential Asian interior design?

I am doing a project for interior and I must know the history of interior design in Asia, and its influences.

In China and Japan, the interior design has been greatly influenced by nature as the previous report said. I would add that this religion had a strong influence. Buddhism and Taoism in China and their relationship with the natural world has been a strong influence. Things in Chinese culture known to have certain meanings have an impact. Paintings fisheries and turtles, for example stated wishes of long life. landscape paintings reflect the nature of the life experience that the observer's eye follows the path up the mountain. The way a room was built into the architecture has often been influenced by these beliefs. Houses avoid having their doors built to the north because it was in the north where the demons lived and you would not want to allow them easy access to your home and family. I hope this gives you a good start.

Most Asian interior design is influenced by Asian culture and natural environment. Meaning sense concept of forest wood, warm and simple, but surprised by the high technology (to combine with Western technology). You can search on Balinese style that is popular in Asia or love by Occidental. You can combine Western technology in the furniture or equipment (eg, toilet utensils,)

Search Ming dynasty artifacts and chairs ...
