Antler Lighting

My 6 year old son wants a ceiling fan in her room that has little fake wood around lights, but it costs 500 dollars and I can not afford it right now. So I thought if I could find those little antlers that I could ship up to a ceiling fan cheaper for him.

You can find several places in the woods this time of year. My concern would be to put the fan out of balance. I suppose you can simply son above the light and not in contact with the fan?? Good luck! $ 500 is ridiculous!
