10 Foot Curtain Rod

Posted on May 27, 2010.
10 Foot Curtain RodHow do I mount a curtain rod tension wire / cable?

I have a range of 10 feet in my apartment where I want to hang curtains to separate a room. The walls are drywall, it has a wall of sound metal underneath, which is difficult (but not impossible) to drill. Remember this is an apartment, so I want to be able to easily remove and fill all holes. THANKS A LOT!

10 'is a long time, you have to use a rod strong enough, as galvanized plumbing pipe (gray) or a gas pipe line (black).

If I were your landlord, I would angy that you drilled holes in the metal siding. How would you patch it to match? Is it painted?

You could think of something hanging from the ceiling instead.
